While we’re tinkering away on some final revisions for this year’s schedule (which will be posted later this week), I wanted to let yinz know how excited we are about our 10th anniversary event. From the original PodCamp to now, the event has evolved as a result of what you, the attendees and speakers make it.
Unlike other events and conferences, we don’t solicit speakers to provide information to attendees, building a cookie-cutter platform full of agendas and motivational speaking to ramp up and sell a particular item or service. Sure, we could set an agenda for sessions each year, but what’s the fun in that? We simply utilize the information already within our network – allowing folks who use podcasting and social media to share the tips and tricks they’ve learned with others.
PodCamp Pittsburgh is a community. It is your community. And, we can’t wait to see you in a few weeks!
p.s. We do still have a couple blocks open for Sunday sessions. And, we’re considering extending the schedule a little further if there is a call for it. If you still have an idea for a session, go ahead and submit it. We can’t guarantee a spot, but we’ll do our best to make it happen.
