As usual we have two days and nights of celebrating the internet, networking, and making memories.
Traditionally our Friday night is an icebreaker at Alpha Lab in the South Side. Due to scheduling conflicts we will be moving Alpha Lab to Saturday and heading to Roland’s in the Strip Districton Friday night. Rolland’s is a Pittsburgh staple and they have plenty of room, food and beverage options, as well as on street parking.
Saturday evening we plan on getting things kicked off right after our last session. As soon as we wrap-up at Point Park attendees can head down to Alpha Lab for finger foods and refreshments. We want attendees to carry on their conversations from the day and provide an opportunity to network with everyone you want to meet. Mike Woycheck has described the evening as “an enchanting social affair with all the right technology, a handshake and a smile.”
There will be a coordinated movement to adjourn to a nearby restaurant concluding the Alpha Lab party.
AlphaLab is Innovation Works’ startup accelerator that provides funding, mentorship, and office space to innovative internet startups. AlphaLab has been ranked as one of the nation’s top accelerator programs by TechCocktail and is a charter member of the Global Accelerator Network. Applications for the Winter/Spring 2013 cycle of AlphaLab are now being accepted – you can find out more information at alphalab.org to apply. The deadline is Sunday, October 28th at 11:59 PM Pacific!
