You may think it’s just another Monday. For the organizers, presenters, and attendees for Podcamp Pittsburgh 11 however, this Monday marks the start of Podcamp Week! This Friday things kick off with our Friday Night Meet ‘n Greet at Looking for Group in Brookline. This year’s Meet ‘n Greet is brought to us by Should I Drink That and BOLD Pittsburgh.
Podcamp Pittsburgh 11 sessions will officially get started Saturday morning with our opening remarks and keynote by Dave Jackson, a podcasting veteran from School of Podcasting.
If you have not yet had an opportunity to check out the schedule of sessions, you can view them on our “PCPGH 2016 Sessions” page. We will have a .pdf file of the schedule and general information materials available for download/print as well as viewing through an interactive .pdf online shortly. Keep an eye out for that announcement this week.
Be sure to check out (and support) our event sponsors. Whether you’re new to the scene or are a veteran, companies like Blubrry, Libsyn and Pair Networks offer great resources for podcasters, bloggers, individuals, and companies alike. While we’re at Point Park University, be sure to check out some of their great opportunities for education as well. If you’re interested in taking a course or getting a degree, they have a variety of course options for both undergraduate and graduate programs – including various programs related to multimedia through their School of Communications. If you’re planning on attending any of our events, you can also take advantage of a special offer from Lyft. They are providing any new Lyft user 5 free rides up to $10 each for the event. (A great opportunity for folks to get to and from our Meet ‘n Greet, the event itself, or even our Saturday night post-party.) And, of course, Commonwealth Press for making us all look good!
